How to book and pay for your roof box

We will give you our bank details once you have confirmed your roof box booking. Usually we require full payment 1 month before your hire.

If your booking is 1 month before your hire, full payment is required at the time of booking.

Sorry but we do not currently take card payments. 

Please don’t send us cash in the post to pay for your roof box. If you prefer to pay by cash then this can be made by calling in at our premises in Colchester. Usually we require full payment 1 month before your hire.

If you do need to cancel your roof box booking it’s a not a problem. At roofboxhirecolchester, we offer a 100% refund on all of your booking as long as your cancellation is made 48 hours prior to the first day of your booking by email or phone. 

It takes roughly 30 to 45 minutes.

This allows us to fit the bars, fixing kit and roof box. We will inspect the condition of the equipment with you, explain how to use it, check your I.D. and check you are happy with the fitting.

When returning the roof box please allow 30 minutes for us to remove and inspect the equipment.

As we don’t ask for a deposit to hire a roof box or any of our equipment, we do require two forms of identification.

Firstly, one form of photo I.D. A driving licence or passport and secondly one proof of address like a Council Tax, utility or phone bill.

Sorry but we request original copies as photo copies won’t be accepted.
